Established in 2002 by environmental champion Jim Eaton, Tuleyome (pronounced too-lee-OME-ee) is a nonprofit conservation group located in Woodland.
The organization focuses its efforts on the Northern Inner Coast Range and the Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument. In early 2018, the organization initiated a Certified California Naturalist program in collaboration with the University of California and the Woodland Public Library.
Volunteers with Tuleyome help with many tasks, including office assistance, trail building and maintenance, habitat restoration, hike assistance and sweeps, photography, scrapbooking, and tabling event assistance.
