Law Enforcement Chaplaincy helps first responders and their families and serves the community in times of tragedy.

Founded originally in 1977 as the Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Sacramento to provide pastoral care to employees of the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, the organization broadened its focus in 1993. The chaplaincy now serves 17 law enforcement agencies, their families, and first responders on federal, state and local levels.
