Maddie’s Fund is a family foundation dedicated to supporting groups involved in saving and sheltering animals. The foundation awards grants to groups that support its vision of a “no-kill nation where every dog and cat is guaranteed a healthy home or habitat.”
Maddie’s Fund has awarded more than $200 million in grants, which are allocated for education, research, partnerships, innovations and other efforts to improve animals’ lives. To provide education for all pet lovers, Maddie’s Fund offers on-site and online opportunities to learn about animal care. Participants receive training in foster case and best practices.
For animal lovers everywhere, Maddie’s Fund provides a list of resources ranging from animal foster homes to conferences and workshops. Using the database, even the newest pet owners can guide themselves through new “parenthood.”
