The Silicon Valley Bicycle Exchange has been fixing and donating bicycles since 1993. This nonprofit promotes advocacy organizations, including the California Bicycle Coalition and the League of American Bicyclists.

Bicycle Exchange offers educational and social activities that help connect the community. For the past two years, the group has restored and donated more than 6,000 bicycles annually. Bicycles are donated to a wide range of nonprofit organizations across Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.
