Founded in 1999, this nonprofit organization engages with students of varied backgrounds and teaches entrepreneurial skills to prepare them for personal and professional success.

BUILD strives to create a platform that provides equal opportunities for every individual. Every year, more than 500,000 students dropout of high school—an overall cost to society of $145 billion. To combat that societal problem, BUILD highlights the importance of education and offers programs that lead more students to finish high school. The curriculum teaches six core “spark skills”: collaboration, communication, grit, innovation, problem solving, and self-management.
