Children's Musical Theater San Jose (CMT) is a musical theater company that nurtures and educates the artists and leaders of tomorrow. CMT provides a healthy environment where young people are empowered and instilled with universal life skills.

CMT provides musical and theatrical training to children ages 4 to 20, spanning all abilities. No child is turned away, regardless of financial or physical limitations. Children who enter the theater enjoy their own spotlight. Education and outreach programs incorporate performance and teaching tools. Other programs—including production workshops, master classes, guest artist series, studio classes, and summer camps—cover voice training, acting, dancing, and more.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been difficult for audiences to attend indoor live theater. As an alternative, CMT has mounted summer revues at the West Wind Capitol Drive-in.
