VOLUNTEER DONATE

Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley is an animal protection and welfare nonprofit organization that provides high-quality care and rehabilitation to injured, sick and orphaned wildlife in the region.

Founded in 1993 by a small group of people dedicated to saving local wildlife, the Wildlife Center accepts native wildlife seven days a week and gives each animal a thorough exam to determine its injury. Once healed, patients are released back to the wild as close as possible to where they were found.

Over the years, the Wildlife Center has helped many injured, sick, and orphaned animals—more than 5,000 animals in 2016 alone. And because 95 percent have suffered injuries as a result of human activity, the center also provides community outreach programs on safe wildlife interaction and conservation issues.
