Breathe California fights lung disease in all its form and works with its communities to improve lung health. Lung disease is the third leading killer in the United States—the first in deaths of infants—and it affects one out of eight Californians. Breathe California works to ensure that people have the resources they need for healthy lungs.

Breathe California holds an annual community walk where people can get together and show their support in fighting against lung disease. This year, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the event is now a “Virtual Walk” to raise money and help more individuals with breathing difficulties.
