Supporting Mamas provides information, resources and support to women and families coping with pregnancy and postpartum anxiety and mood disorder. It provides mothers, partners and families in Santa Clara County with the right resources and tools to recognize, treat, and overcome their struggles.
Postpartum depression is the most under-diagnosed obstetrical complications in America. Recognizing the struggles mothers may go through due to pregnancy, Supporting Mamas raises awarenes and reduces the stigma associated with postpartum depression and perinatal disorders. The organization offers support groups, support for NICU parents, Medi-Cal/low-fee services, therapists, miscarriage and infant loss counseling, and more.
