Autism Living Leisure & Education Nurturing Inc. (ALLEN) was founded in 2010 by a group of educators to fulfill the critical need of providing education and care for individuals diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Serving people around Santa Clara County, ALLEN provides a safe and healthy environment for individuals and families that promotes self-sufficiency and independence. Focus is placed on designating individualized programs for students that take into account their interests and learning styles.
ALLEN runs a healing center and retreat space with hot tubs and steam rooms that offer a quiet space for individuals to relax, recharge, and renew physically and mentally. It also offers a therapeutic horse program with trainers. The next step is to develop a garden where students can learn about horticulture.
