Friends of Caltrain is a nonprofit organization that supports the funding and modernization of Caltrain. The group has more than 7,000 supporters in the San Francisco Peninsula area. The organizations that Friends of Caltrain works with include city governments, local community organizations and environmental coalitions.
Stable funding of the Caltrain electric train system with easy access is the group’s mission. The corridor served by Caltrain covers three counties: San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara.
