Silicon Valley Community Foundation

Silicon Valley Community Foundation provides funding locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally to smaller nonprofits that meet a variety of needs. 

The organization commissions research to identify emerging issues and monitor trends to determine the greatest and most critical needs. In addition, it provides emergency grants during times of disaster. 

Silicon Valley Community Foundation, which formed in 2007, directs grants locally, nationally, and globally. Its focus is on charities in the nine-county Bay Area in California. 

Though its physical office is closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, Silicon Valley Community Foundation is working to provide assistance to individuals, nonprofits, and small businesses suffering losses and changes. The organization is also accepting proposals to ensure the safety and security of immigrants.
