Dress for Success is a global nonprofit organization that empowers women to seek economic independence by providing education and development tools. Active in 150 cities across 25 countries, Dress for Success has helped more than 1.2 million individuals. 

Dress for Success is “much more than simply a new outfit.” Clients gain both new attire and new skills to secure employment. Individuals are given leadership roles to gain confidence and initiate social change for themselves and people around them. It all started in 1996, when Nancy Lublin received a $5,000 inheritance and collaborated with three nuns in her local church. They started off in the basement of the church and from there began to expand each year.

During this COVID-19 pandemic, Dress for Success has created a virtual power walk event in solidarity with women across the country who have been impacted by COVID-19.
