Historic Preservation Commission

The commission drafts and recommends measures to implement the historic preservation plan, including a building plan and preservation ordinance, to the City Council. The commission’s seven members are appointed by the City Council, and usually have degrees or experience in architecture, history, archaeology, or planning. They may also perform other administrative and advisory functions delegated by ordinance or resolution.

Meetings are held in the City Council Chambers at 809 Center St. on the third Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m.
