Claudia Rossi is serving her second term on the Santa Clara County Board of Education, representing Area 7, which encompasses Morgan Hill Unified, Gilroy Unified, Evergreen, and a portion of Oak Grove and corresponding portion of East Side Union High school districts. Previously, she was on the school board of Morgan Hill Unified School District for the term of 2010-2014. She started a nonprofit organization to help students from disadvantaged backgrounds that aspire to go to college, kicked off a sports mentoring program to serve at-risk youth, and has been actively involved in organizing workshops for parents of English language learners.
