Joseph Di Salvo has been a teacher, director, elementary and middle school principal in the county as well as serving as union president for Santa Clara County teachers. He is serving his fourth consecutive term on the Santa Clara County Board of Education. He represents Area 4, which includes majority portion of San Jose Unified, a portion of Oak Grove and corresponding portion of East Side Union High school districts.
