Animal Friends Rescue Project believes every animal deserves a loving home and a good scratch. With the help of more than 400 volunteers, this nonprofit based in Pacific Grove finds loving homes for abandoned, stray and abused dogs and cats.

With a vision to end animal overpopulation, the group also offers vouchers for low-cost spay/neuter services. Foster volunteers are always welcome. Funds are also raised from sales at the AFRP Treasure Shop, an eclectic shop located at 158 Fountain Avenue in Pacific Grove next to the AFRP Adoption Center.
