VOLUNTEER DONATE

Since 1971, the Blind & Visually Impaired Center of Monterey County has been empowering the blind and visually impaired to live independently.

The nonprofit provides specialists in one-on-one orientation and mobility traveling skills. Vision rehabilitation therapists teach independent living skills, and myriad of technologies, equipment, and aids are available for loan. The BVIC also encourages its blind and visually impaired clients to maintain an active social life with casual lunch gathering, ceramics classes, and support groups. Volunteers are always welcome.
