These volunteers show their friendship through a variety of ways that “contribute to the health and vitality of the Pacific Grove Library.”

Working with local government, they have spearheaded the passing of measures proposing a parcel tax dedicated to the library and helped increase the library’s budget by more than $100,000. The nonprofit has also organized membership and events to raise much-needed funds, and sponsored meet-the-author events.
