VOLUNTEER DONATE

The Girl Scouts is a national organization geared toward empowering girls and equipping them with leadership skills. The Heart of Central California chapter is active in the Capital Region.

Girl Scouts inspires girls around the nation to achieve their dreams and come together to change the world for the better. From nature adventures to learning marketable business skills, this organization has existed for generations and continues to empower young ladies ages 5-18.

Girl Scouts is a safe place for girls to explore the world, discover new interests, and be the best version of themselves. Research has shown that this organization is responsible for increased courage, confidence and character—and girls come out equipped to make the world a better place.

Girl Scouts begin their journey at the Daisy level in kindergarten, and progress through these levels:

  • Daisies—Grades K-1.
  • Brownies—Grades 2-3.
  • Juniors—Grades 4-5.
  • Cadettes—Grades 6-8.
  • Seniors—Grades 9-10.
  • Ambassadors—Grades 11-12

The Girl Scout leadership model is constantly evolving to meet girls where they’re at and to position them to learn, grow, and achieve.
