VOLUNTEER DONATE

The Placer SPCA aims to protect, support and enhance the lives of animals.

The largest animal welfare provider in the county, Placer SPCA shelters up to 4,000 homeless and abandoned animals every year. In addition to dogs and cats, the SPCA also handles “critter” adoptions—if you’re looking for a new guinea pig companion, you’ve come to the right place.

Animal lovers can support the SPCA in many ways. In addition to corporate partnerships, memorial donations, and planned giving, donors can participate in the Guardian Angel Program, which cares for special-needs animals, and the one-year Kennel Sponsorship, which entitles donors to a personalized plaque adorning a cat or critter cage, dog kennel, or cat suite. And those with more limited funds can supply items from the SPCA’s wish list, make contributions to the pet food pantry, or donate their recyclables.
