Fireworks are illegal in unincorporated Placer and alcohol is banned July 1-6 on the Truckee River

County officials are reminding visitors and residents during Fourth of July celebrations that all fireworks are illegal in unincorporated Placer County, including all of North Lake Tahoe, and alcohol is banned on the Truckee River from July 1-6.
