The Elk Grove Planning Commission reviews and approves city planning applications, while making recommendations to City Council on all zoning and expansions. The five planning commissioners currently have no term limits. When a seat is vacant, it is advertised to the public. In an effort to improve access to public information, the city provides webcasting of Elk Grove Planning Commission meetings and archives past meetings.
Meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 6 p.m. in City Council Chambers.
