The Planning Commission is made up of five individuals appointed by the City Council. Each commissioner serves a term of four years. The Commission recommends plans for growth and development, as well as city design and zoning. Currently the commission is working on the city’s first update to its General Plan in more than 20 years. The process is open to anyone who wants to participate. The General Plan Update will help shape the next 20 years of Isleton’s future and will affect the quality of life in the city. To learn more, visit PlanIsleton.com.
The commission meets the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm at the Isleton City Hall, 101 Second St.
