The city manager exists to implement policies and actions voted upon by the Isleton City Council. Serving as the administrative head of the city government, the city manager is also responsible for keeping the council advised on financial conditions, appointing employees, and supervising the administration of all departments.

The City Manager also prepares and submits the annual budget and all reports.
