How quaint do you like your art and culture? San Benito County’s Hollister, Aromas, and San Juan Bautista offer small-town arty affairs. DIY art walks, open studios, historical tours and more are now happening regularly, and everyone’s invited.

1. Public Art Walking Tour

Public art abounds in downtown Hollister, thanks to the city of Hollister, Hollister Downtown Association, San Benito County Chamber of Commerce, and San Benito County Historical Society. Download the self-guided map and behold murals, monuments, and more.

4. International Museum Day at the Wapple House Museum

The San Benito County Historical Society takes part every May in International Museum Day in the name of cultural exchange with activities devoted to the area's history and its first settlers. The society also participates in Civil War Days, held in September at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.
