After struggling through a one-win season last year, the Gavilan College women’s volleyball team is back on track. Entering the week, the Rams were 5-3, having won four of their last five matches.

Two towering figures in California sports history have passed away.

Hollister’s new nine-hole disc golf course on Vista Park Hill hosted what is believed to be the city’s first tournament for the sport, as part of the city’s ongoing 150th anniversary celebration.

San Benito Aquatics and Hollister High School hosted more than 650 swimmers from throughout northern California and Nevada for the 2022 Pacific Swimming Summer Junior Olympics.
