Youth Recovery Connections provides education and awareness about addiction and how to prevent it.
Youth Recovery Connections is a nonprofit focused on helping those with opioid and other substance abuse issues find help, as well as providing education and awareness to at-risk populations to prevent future usage. Focused solely on young people, the organization provides a warm and accepting environment that will help youth feel safe and willing to live a healthy lifestyle under guidance.
With so many developmental, social, and emotional changes during adolescence, it can be difficult for a young person to know who to trust. This demographic is very vulnerable to negative influences, which is why Youth Recovery Connections aims to be a positive one.
This group partners with a variety of entities, including the city of Hollister, San Benito County Office of Education/Alternative Education, and the San Benito County Opioid Task Force. By joining forces, success is increased among participants and target populations.
