Encompass Community Services builds on the strength of people working together to create healthy change in their lives and communities. A large, countywide nonprofit, it provides varied social, economic, and educational opportunities.

Encompass serves more than 1,500 low-income children and families annually. The organization helps residents in Santa Cruz County gain access to these resources:

  • Housing
  • Counseling for individuals, families and youth
  • Substance use recovery programs 
  • Head Start and pre-kindergarten
  • Reentry services 
  • Health and financial services
