For 25 years, Pet Friends and Rescue of San Benito County has been a no-kill pet shelter located on five acres.

Along with housing up to 60 adoptable kittens and cats, plus 10 dogs, the non-profit offers low-cost spay and neuter services, medications, vaccinations, and microchips. Pet supply donations are always welcome on the weekends.

In April of 2021, the group held a ribbon-cutting for a new beautification project at its shelter.
