San Benito Fire Safe Council is comprised of members of fire agencies, county agencies, private corporations and private citizens united to make San Benito prepared for wildfires. Councils educate the public on such fire-deterring precautions as shaded fuel breaks and firebreaks. Community events include evacuation drills, wildfire preparation town hall meeting.
