The Pajaro Valley Water Management Agency is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors, all of whom live and vote within the area served by PV Water. Four of the directors are elected to four-year staggered terms in November of even-numbered years. Candidates may file for these division seats between July and August. Three directors are appointed to serve two-year terms; they must derive a majority of their income from agriculture to be eligible.
