VOLUNTEER DONATE

Created to keep animals cared for in an area that lacks many resources and has an abundance of pets in need of a home, Better World Rescue strives to change the world for individual animals and protect them from as many hardships as possible.

Since many shelters are currently in crisis and do not have enough resources to sustain the many lives surrendered to them, Better World Rescue helps owners keep their pets in their homes or find a new home for the pet without taking it to the shelter. Many necessities for animals can be expensive, so Better World Rescue offers these resources at a lower cost, such as spaying and neutering. Volunteers also offer behavioral training resources, which is helpful given that the main reason for surrendering pets—particularly dogs—is a behavioral issue. Better World Rescue also offers medical bill assistance, adoption, and fostering. Unfortunately, there is only one foster for every 100 dogs that Better World Rescue is called upon to help.
