The Lodi Arts Foundation is a nonprofit organization that partners with the Lodi Arts Commission and the city of Lodi. The foundation advocates for Lodi’s artists and the work they create. It creates opportunities for both viewers or creators to foster a supportive community for the arts.

During the summer, the foundation helps facilitate an art exhibit at the Lodi library that spotlights local artists. It also collaborates with the city of Lodi on a celebration of the arts in the city’s historic downtown called the Lodi Art Hop, which encourages the community to engage with local art and artists. These quarterly events feature an outdoor gallery, live music, coffee and food, a kids’ gallery, and art-making opportunities.

The Lodi Arts Foundation promotes awareness of the city’s grant program, which offers two types of grants to artists or cultural entities that can present promising, well-planned projects that serve the community of Lodi. Project grants start at $1,001; mini-grants are $1,000 and below.
