Part of Rotary International, a leading service organization that is active around the world, the Rotary Club of Stockton was created in 1914. Its rich history has seen local members put time and treasure into many projects, from local to global.

Members of the Rotary Club of Stockton meet every Wednesday for lunch at the Stockton Golf and Country club. Locally, the club has been involved in distributing free dictionaries in the Stockton Unified School District, supporting literacy projects, and providing holiday baskets to people in need. And it has endowed four scholarships that are available to local students.

Stockton’s Rotary Club is active in many other ways. Members fund and maintain a World War II memorial that is located at Weber Point. This memorial serves as a site for special programs during patriotic holidays. The club also maintains a Rotary House at the local hospital where families of patients can stay.
