VOLUNTEER DONATE
Created in 2005 by friends and volunteers, Chest of Hope raises funds to support women and orphans who are suffering from domestic violence.
Chest of Hope provides education and support to individuals or to families as a whole. Chest of Hope provides all kinds of services, including parenting classes, financial literacy, job readiness, restraining orders, and court accompaniment.
Because San Joaquin County is along the highways that are used to transport victims of human trafficking, Chest of Hope also helps victims of trafficking. The group is part of the Human Trafficking Task Force in San Joaquin County.
There many resources Chest of Hope provides, including 11 beds for single women and two homes for families fleeing from domestic violence. On the Chest of Hope website, there is a wealth of information on how to leave a violent relationship and helpline numbers to call.
