DONATE

Formerly known as Disabled American Veteran Charities of San Joaquin County, Port City Patriots was founded in 1972, This nonprofit was created by a group of veterans to assist other veterans and provide direct support through programs and services.

There are many veterans across the United States who are homeless. More than 11,000 veterans are homeless in California alone. For the past half-century, veteran and non-veteran volunteers have provided support to thousands of local veterans. With the help of donations, Port City Patriots provides emergency rent/utility assistance, transportation (bus passes), counseling, claims services, and more. They honor the sacrifices made by veterans and their families and have a deep respect to those who have served the nation.

Port City Patriots hosts events like shootouts, golf days, and celebrations and uses the proceeds they earn from ticket sales to serve the veterans of San Joaquin County. The Patriots also offer a scholarship ranging between $500 and $1,000 to any veteran or children/grandchildren of veterans attending San Joaquin Delta College, located in Stockton.
