Lodi Police Foundation

The Lodi Police Foundation supports the various needs of the Lodi Police Department outside of what is provided by city funds.

The residents of Lodi are proud and supportive of their police department. However, when budget cuts hit, it is difficult to maintain quality services with fewer resources and finances. This is where the Lodi Police Foundation steps in and provides funding, equipment, and support to those out there keeping the streets safe.

​Through private donations from both individuals and businesses, the Lodi Police Department has benefited directly from this generosity. The foundation serves as the liaison between the donors and the department, maintaining accountability, funds distribution, and tax receipts to donors.

Self-described as bridging the gap “between budget and reality,” the foundation has obtained certain types of equipment for the department, and also provides community programs that build a stronger relationship between everyday citizens and the police force. In today’s precarious times, it is more important than ever to keep officers engaged with the community in positive and helpful ways.

The Lodi Police Foundation also contributes funding to the Lodi Area Crime Stoppers, an organization that pays awards for crime tips.
