The South San Joaquin County Fire Authority, also known as South County Fire, covers the city of Tracy and the surrounding southern portion of San Joaquin County. Firefighters and staff operate from seven fire stations and one fire administration building and provide all-risk fire protection, including advanced life support, emergency medical service, fire suppression, hazardous materials and rescue.
