Sacramento Steps Forward partners with local, state and federal agencies to accomplish a shared goal of ending homelessness in the Sacramento region.
Sacramento Steps Forward is the lead agency for the Sacramento Continuum of Care, the region's planning body to coordinate help and housing for homeless individuals throughout Sacramento. In this lead role, Sacramento Steps Forward receives and manages funds at the local, state, and federal level and ensures they go toward appropaite shelter and housing programs. The organization also serves as a liaison to key agencies working to change the landscape of homelessless. By partnerting together, more is accomplished.
Other role and responsiblities embraced by Sacramento Steps Forward:
SSF is continually discovering new ways and refining its current methods to create lasting solutions within the local community to end homelessness.
