VOLUNTEER DONATE

CARE, short for Companion Animal Rescue Effort, is a nonprofit devoted to finding permanent homes for dogs, as well as temporary shelter, food, love and medical attention for those awaiting adoption.

Founded in 1987, CARE helps abandoned, abused, or otherwise neglected dogs. Each rescued dog is nurtured while awaiting its “forever home.” This no-kill animal rescue organization aims to provide long-term care: All dogs and puppies are spayed or neutered and microchipped to ensure the best adoption prospects.
