Girls to Women supports the physical, mental, and educational health of girls in elementary and early middle school in the Palo Alto area.

Girls to Women sees girls’ unique attributes and helps them strengthen their abilities. The nonprofit group offers a Rising Voice Program to provide media and visual arts instruction, and an Environmental Education Program to educate students on the importance of gardening and healthy nutrition. Other programs promote technology learning, personal development, age transition, and more.

The organization operates on the belief that learning is critical to the healthy development of all children. However, not all families have access to the same resources, so Girls to Women focuses on serving “high-risk neighborhoods.” Outreach programs are optimized by nutritional support to support students’ physical development as well.
