Center for Employment Training promotes human development through skill training and supportive services for individuals to achieve self-sufficiency.

Founded in 1967, CET helps those who aim for a better life. Its job training programs, which were once rated “the most effective” in the nation, teach marketable skills to people from all educational backgrounds.

Training covers many topics:

Business: Learn about the business world and how to act in a professional environment.
Childcare: Understand all stages of early childhood development.
Construction & Building Maintenance: Grapple with power tools and blueprints.
Culinary: Enter a hands-on program that teaches knife skills, etc.
Medical: Explore entry-level medical jobs.
Technical: Gain technical training and job placement assistance.

Through its various programs, CET has assisted more than 140,000 community members get into the workforce.
