VOLUNTEER DONATE

SPUR, the San Francisco Bay Area Planning and Urban Research Association, brings the community together to discuss solutions to the problems our cities face.

With offices in San Francisco, San Jose, and Oakland, SPUR unites people across the political spectrum to tackle urban issues such as community planning, economic development, good governance, housing, sustainability and resilience, and transportation.

During the pandemic, SPUR conducted research to study how to best support human and economic activity. The study compiled recommendations on actions cities can undertake immediately to assist businesses. Another topic that has been covered is the government’s response to the pandemic.
