Established in 2002, the Yolo County Children’s Alliance operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and functions as an “inter-agency collaborative.”
This collaboration brings together various services aimed at supporting families and addressing community issues while raising awareness about the well-being of families in Yolo County. Serving as the leading entity for the county's Child Abuse Prevention Council, their primary objective is to coordinate community efforts to prevent and respond to child abuse and neglect. Approximately 80 percent of the funds raised by the Children’s Alliance are directed towards their programming and services, ensuring that a significant portion of the resources goes directly into helping the community.
