The Woodland Police Activities League aims to reach the youth of the city of Woodland, with the goal to reduce juvenile crime throughout the community.

The Woodland Police Activities League was founded in 2016 to help Woodland youth engage with their community, build a trusting relationship with law enforcement, and to reduce juvenile crime throughout the city of Woodland and the surrounding region. WPAL provides safe and affordable weekend and afterschool recreational activities, including sports, social nights, educational programming, and cultural activities.

One of the activities that WPAL sponsors is the Junior Giants softball and baseball leagues. These leagues are free to join for kids aged 5-13, and some of the coaches are bilingual in English and Spanish to ensure diversity and inclusion. They have also sponsored an all-ages wrestling club at Woodland High School, a Fill the Trunk Christmas gift distribution event, and spring break sports camps.
