Davis Chamber of Commerce

The Davis Chamber of Commerce serves businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs operating within the city limits of Davis.

The Davis Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1905, and from the start has been an impactful organization helping businesses and professionals every day. A membership organization, the chamber puts forth the following as its mission statement: 

• To help create a strong local economy
• To promote the community
• To provide networking opportunities
• To represent the interests of business with government

Members pay annual dues, attend regular meetings, and are also invited to participate in special events such as luncheons, galas, motivational speakers, and resource fairs. While most cities have a chamber of commerce, one thing that makes Davis unique is its grant program for small business and nonprofits. It is also home to the Davis Chamber Scholarship Foundation, which helps provide college finances for student residents of Davis who may or may not attend UC Davis.

The chamber has a board of directors consisting of members who serve three-year terms and an executive committee that meets monthly, comprising the chair, vice chair, treasurer, secretary, legal counsel, and immediate past chair.

The staff of the chamber consists of the executive director, the director of events & communications, and a membership and events coordinator.
