VOLUNTEER DONATE

Connecting local artists with the community, North Tahoe Arts first launched as the Sierra Artists’ Network more than 30 years ago.

At that time, it moved into the old Tahoe City community center perched over Commons Beach on the main drag of Highway 28, and Tahoe artists have been adding a bit of color, life, and culture to the downtown Tahoe City shopping experience ever since.

Within the historic TC community center, NTArts opened up an artisan shop which acts as a hub for local creators. The shop not only sells locally made art, it also hosts workshops, camps, and events that help provide an income for artists and instructors while enhancing the art experience for visitors and tourists.

This nonprofit stays alive thanks to its generous donors and people are invited to help support the arts through exposure, education, and participation through the artisan shop or contributing directly to NTArts. One anonymous friend of North Tahoe Arts has even committed to match dollar for dollar up to $8,000 for every regular contribution that comes in.
