Sacramento Region Community Foundation transforms the community by providing leadership and partnership to local nonprofits.

The foundation was officially incorporated in April of 1983 and now manages more than 700 charitable funds for local families, businesses and nonprofits. It helps supply the need for stable, permanent financial support to increase the capacity of local nonprofits to meet the growing region’s critical needs.

The Sacramento Region Community Foundation announced the May 2 Big Day of Giving had raised $13.2 million in donations to 826 nonprofits in El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo counties.
