Sue Horne was first elected as Nevada County’s assessor in 2010. Horne has more than two decades of experience in the public sector and has lived in the county since 1980. She is a Board of Equalization certified advanced property tax appraiser. From 2001 to 2008, Horne served as Nevada County's District 2 Supervisor, representing south county.
